El Santo del Festival

Occasionally, I am delighted by the end process of a painting. As we all know, you never know what you're going to get at the beginning of the process! I am so pleased with how this sweet Saint turned out. I love the antique look and her garland of skullies, hearts and papier mache. She helps to celebrate a festival of love....possibly a pre-wedding or engagement celebration!

I must run to work. Just had to share. Have a great week!

  3. I am lovin the vintage feel of you latest paintings...and the garland on this one...reminds me of Day of the Dead...maybe she is celebrating her love for her departed.
