Songbird of the Seashore

Just thought I would share my newest, also painted on wood like Charlee's Crows (see below). She is the sweet keeper of the Songbird of the Seashore. Such a lovely and delicate songbird needs a little protection from the unpredictable elements that ebb and flow like the water she sweetly sings to at dusk. Here it is in the vintage wooden frame I found which i re purposed with a little egg white paint. Don't these old wood frames have so much personality?
She waits patiently for the songbird to begin her lullaby with the ocean.
Sweet with anticipation....
And, remember "Thumbelina and the Half Doll"? Well just thought I would let you know I am letting her go and she will be available on ebay tonight!
As always, thank you so much for the encouraging comments. I hope this weekend finds you contended and creating...I so love seeing all of your work which keeps me inspired! ; ) xxx
