Ruby's Nest

She's done! And, if I don't see another bottle of Elmer's glue for a month that will be just fine with me! It was the only thing we had lying around, it dries clear and, it's true, after all these years, it still peels right off your skin like a nasty sunburn. : ) The bird, the nest and the twig in her hair were cut out from some reproduced vintage postcards I had.
She's a big girl at 15 X 30...I've never painted on this size canvas before but let me recommend I loved it!!! (This one was from JoAnn's).
When you get tired of these bird caged skirts just let me know....I'm sorry!
I can't help myself. ; P
Do you think this hair style will ever come back?!
And, lastly, my sweet little man wrote me a Valentines poem for Valentines Day. He brought it home from school yesterday and, with a lot of misspelled words it read,
"The sun is red,
You are red
like a heart Mama.
Love, Aidan"
Melt my heart!
Have a wonderful Valentines weekend guys!
