Okay....you knew this was coming. How could I resist a doll with a bird cage skirt just like my favorite paintings?! So this is Bedelia meaning "strength". I think it suits her broad shoulders and the fact that she is the keeper of her little crow friend. The skirt is attached at the waist but it does lift so you can see the entire cage painted under her skirt.
This is on the back of Bedelia. It could refer to a child and a mother relationship but when I wrote it I was referring to how you feel with your soul mate. I think I have decided to write a little something meaningful on each doll. I love when things have little extra details.
